"DURAN Duran pop frontman Simon Le Bon is skating on thin ice again -
after volunteering for a daredevil sailing stunt on a frozen lake.
The Birmingham band’s singer will take part in the dangerous sport on new BBC2 show High Altitude,
24 years after he nearly died during a sailing race on the sea.
Simon will be filmed in the challenge next month with brother Jonny, and show hosts
ex-Olympic skier Graham Bell and snowboarding expert Ed Leigh.
They will dice with death on a catamaran-shaped boat which will fly across the ice at speeds
of up to 50 mph on a lake in Sweden".
